For James' Birthday weekend we decided to go out to Sacramento for a visit. We had such a great time! Things just seemed to work out for us. We left Reno on Saturday morning and went straight to the Country Club Mall for some treats from Mrs. Fields. (Thanks Maren!) We walked in, and James' friend Jeremy was there with his beautiful daughter, Zoe.
He lives in Oakland, and happened to be in town this weekend. So we were able to spend some the afternoon with him. James went to watch the BYU game with Jeremy, so I went to visit with my friend and former roommate, Susie. It was nice to have some girl time while the boys were doing their male bonding.
We were able to get together with some of James' friends for a night of "Rock Band" and Pie. James was in heaven! 2 of his favorite things...besides me, and Jesus.
Sunday we spent a nice day visiting with more friends and family. It had been way too long since we had been out to visit. It is always so nice to be with family. We only live 2 hours away, but it is still too far! We are already anxious to go back out there in 3 days for Thanksgiving!
